Nuno Vinhas

Nuno Antonio Ramos Vinhas has over 44 years of experience in teaching and strategic management. Nuno started his career in electronics in 1970. Was appointed as supervisor of the test department and worked with Daval and Sons testing equipment to MoD, CAA, and LT standards, ranging from London Underground consoles to avionics. Hold the Telecommunications/Biomedical Electronics Manager with Diamang in Angola (Africa). Joined ITT C.C.Co., as a senior computer engineer and computer maintenance industry until 2009.

After graduating in education from Edge Hill and London Metropolitan universities, he joined Southwark College as an ICT/IT Skills teacher and proceeded to teach in many further education colleges. Appointed in 2004 as the coordinator for the Portuguese Community CCP and Director of the Portuguese School of IT. Best Student of the Year at Edge Hill University 2010. Nominated Excellence in STEM Teaching and Learning 2022/23. Nominated by IET Best Diversity and Inclusion Award 2019. Volunteer trustee at ALAF, and W12Together. Vice-chair of the LBH Carers Network forum. Was Chairman of the Anglo Paraguayan Society 2012/2022.

A confident statement of ideas and challenges in today’s teaching career, where it stands for the so-called creative evolution and shows the boundaries of educational governmental organisation ideologies and socio-political influences. Some facts are crucial markers of moments of cultural, political, and change in psychological and socio-economic technologies or, indeed, stasis, which have affected all our lives.
The same tantalising questions and factors underpin my education, own individual ways which were growing with me, and affected address subjects that have large implications for such concepts as national identity, human rights, and freedom of speech. I hope that these facts will excite and stimulate those who come across them as much as they have me.
